7th, Apr, 2007 is a special date for Chinese stairs industry because stairs committee of CFDCC was established in Shanghai. Shanghai Elgin Stairs has been chosen as the president unit while the general manager Mr. Zhangjiagang has been chosen as the president and the leading person in the industry.

In the following five months, Elgin has introduced German production line to its newly founded factory. 20,000 square meters’ workshop and ten million value equipment would inject new vigor to Chinese stairs industry. Besides introduction of solid equipment, Elgin also imported whole set of world-leading stairs design and processing software, which means a lot to China’s stairs production in terms of its standardization, improvement of quality and innovation of technique.

In order to fulfill the spirit of stairs committee to the agents across the country, let them familiarize with the new factory and the situation of equipment and software, Elgin Stairs held the fifth annual meeting in picturesque Zhangjiajie on 16th, Apr, 2007, hoping that this meeting could be a good chance for summarizing the past and grabbing opportunities in the future, thus making better contribution to the whole stairs industry. Mr. Josée Maria, president of TM Spain (partner of Elgin) in China, spent time with excellent dealer representatives across the country and principals of all departments in Elgin headquarter on discussing development of Elgin stairs, sustainable growth of production and brand. Mr. Josée Maria of TM Spain, together with Mr. Zhangjiagang, general manager of Elgin Stairs first announced some tentative plans and implementation schemes on further cooperation. Mr. Josée Maria restated that Elgin is one of the two dealers in China. TM Spain can not put up with the fact that some companies imitate their product to cheat customers and get interests. They have made statement on their official website and will use different channels, including exhibitions, to remind Chinese customers. What’s more, TM China office will take series of measurements to safeguard the brand image, protect the interests of its partners, agents and those Chinese customers who support TM a lot. At the same time, TM will provide better support for its agents and will produce stairs or handrails with new styles and new materials.<

Elgin team has made full and positive discussion for most time of the annual meeting. Looking back the past when Elgin was established in 1999, it first introduced advanced products as well as manufacturing and technical concepts abroad. Today it has four brands products from Germany, Italy, Spain and Austria as well as franchised stores in more than 60 cities across the country. Elgin hosted a Western style dinner banquet at the five-star hotel in the scenic spot at the final stage of the meeting. At the same time, it praised and encouraged the excellent agents. All the representatives taking part in the meeting climbed the famous Tianzi Mountain on the third day. They enjoyed the beautiful scenery, talked happily and made a promise to meet again at Shanghai international Architecture Expo on 23rd, May this year at the peak.
